11. Diva In-style Spotted - Skating ~

Since it is the holiday, why not go for ice skating right?  It is a rare occasion for me to be skating since ice skating is definitely not something I would do every time. You could probably guess why...

( ps://I have no idea why I wore green for both day! haha )

Ice Skating is exactly the same as roller blading. The only difference is, one is on ice while the other is on the ground. The very first time I learned how to play roller blade when I was about 9 years old. It was all thanks to my sister who learned it in her secondary school and involved  the whole family to take part.

For a beginner like me without any instructor, it was toughed. Strangers even offered a helping hand as well as some tips on how to balance. As they say, "Practice Makes Perfect". Since then, my hobby became roller blading. I would play all day with my brother just to kill time and managed to come up with a few stunts. During the weekends, my family would go to East Coast Park and rent roller blades just to give it a shot.

At the age of 12, my family brought me to ice skating to celebrate my special occasion. My face started to turn red as I couldn't even stand properly on ice. I was just a beginner for roller blading, what about skating?

After a few falls, I manage to gain my balance. I'm pretty sure 2 hours on ice wasn't enough for me at all. It was hella fun! My love for roller blading grew, which made me decided to get my own pair of blades. That's where my skills slowly improved.

No matter how much I love roller blading time seems to never did it's justice. Due to schools and  commitment for outside activities, the time I spent for roller blading was lessen. My stamina grew weaker too. Maybe I should really start a healthy lifestyle right about now. . . Oh well, I do roller blade during my free hours although it isn't as often as before.
